England Roses to face Jamaica, New Zealand and South Africa in a new international competition in 2020

England Roses will confront Jamaica, New Zealand and South Africa at a new contest.
The Vitality Netball Nations Cup will probably see the struggle against the New Zealand Silver Ferns the Jamaica Sunshine Girls along with the South Africa SPAR Proteas in three towns over four days of action.
The tournament kicks off at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on January 19, that will be the very first time since 2011 that an global netball competition has come to the city. The contest will start playing newly-crowned world champions New Zealand and Jamaica confronting South Africa.
The action will proceed to Arena Birmingham for a second double header on January 22 and will conclude for the last two weeks of the competition on January 25 and 26 at the Copper Box Arena in London.
Jess Thirlby, vitality Roses head trainer, is excited about the competition which sees England play in front of a house crowd for the first time because the Netball World Cup.
“This is going to be a very exciting event; rivalry is greater than ever and teams are out to establish themselves following the incredible vulnerability of this World Cup,” explained Thirlby.
“Not only will we’re gaining a valuable chance to face some of the world’s finest teams, we’ll also be competing at a totally brand new global competition.
