Gyuto Monks of Tibet creating the Sand Mandala of Yamantaka in Lightning Ridge Day 4

Day Four has been –
Another spectacular day! The Gyuto Monks of Tibet, hosted by Milarepa’s Buddhist Centre Inc., have almost completed this amazing Yamantaka Sand Mandala.
Day four started earlier with a special ceremony conducted by the Gyuto Monks, followed by the morning meditation.
Children and adults both enjoyed the mask making activity in the morning and the Tibetan tips for living: Humour, talk.
The Karma Burning Ceremony had people feeling lighter and happier and the steady flow of people visiting the gymnasium throughout the day was wonderful to see.
The Echoes of Enlightenment Chanting Performance was magical with the audience hearing the soothing sounds of the Monks chants and traditional trumpets, drums and bells.
Thank you for everyone’s generous support of the event and activities so far and a big thanks to the Monks.
Don’t forget to check out our photographs and video footage from the day.
