Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero will play it back again, as the two fighters will do battle for the second time in the main event of UFC 225. Whittaker, who won the first game at UFC 213, is the -260 favorite with Romero coming back in +200.
The first struggle between Whittaker and Romero performed as many people could have predicted, together with Romero winning the early rounds thanks to his explosiveness and wrestling while Whittaker’s cardio and quantity striking finally won him the fight in the later rounds.
Whittaker hasn’t fought because UFC 213, as he suffered a staph infection, which derailed a title defense against Luke Rockhold at UFC 221.
Romero stuffed in for the champion to compete against Rockhold and stepped into Whittaker’s sneakers. Romero won that fight using his striking over his wrestling, as his ability got to Rockhold and led to yet another third-round stoppage victory for”The Soldier of God.”
